"RRR" achieved a noteworthy domestic box office opening of Rs 133 crore, with its Hindi version grossing approximately Rs 21 crore. In contrast, the Hindi version of "Devara Part One" failed to reach double digits in its first-day earnings.
Anil Thadani's company AA Films, known for distributing record-breaking films like 'Bahubali', has released the movie 'Devra Part One' in Hindi. The film has opened Rs 77 crore at the domestic box office, including all languages. The Telugu version has earned Rs 68.60 crore, and the Hindi version has earned about seven crore rupees. However, the movie has not been able to earn even one crore rupees in any of the other Indian languages.
The film "Devra Part One" significantly underperformed in comparison to Prabhas' "Kalki 2898 AD," released in June of this year. Directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring prominent actors such as Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, "Kalki 2898 AD" achieved an impressive domestic box office opening of Rs 95.30 crore on its debut day. The Telugu version of the film earned Rs 65.80 crore, whereas the Hindi version garnered Rs 22.50 crore and the Tamil version collected Rs 4.5 crore. Additionally, the film generated Rs 2.20 crore in the Malayalam market.
The highest-grossing South Indian film on its opening day is 'KGF Chapter 2', directed by Prashanth Neel and starring actor Yash. The film earned Rs 53.95 crore from the Hindi version alone on its first day. The total domestic box office earnings on the first day were Rs 116 crore, including Rs 22.85 crore from the Kannada version, Rs 26.40 crore from the Telugu version, Rs 7.90 crore from the Tamil version, and Rs 4.90 crore from the Malayalam version.
