In the 2nd test match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangladesh had a slow start, but some important innings put them in a good position. For India, Akash Deep took 2 wickets for 34 runs in 10 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin took 1 wicket for 22 runs in 9 overs. The rest of the Indian bowlers remained empty-handed. The fans were disappointed when the game ended early due to poor light, but the excitement in the game remains intact as Bangladesh lost 3 wickets for 107 runs.
