ENG vs PAK: England achieved a historic cricket milestone during Thursday's first test match against Pakistan in Multan. The team recorded the highest team score in test cricket this century, reaching 823 runs for seven before declaring their innings.

England has taken a lead of 267 runs based on the first innings. Pakistan’s team scored 556 runs in the first innings thanks to the centuries of Shafiq, Masood, and Agha. In reply, England scored more than 800 runs in which Harry Brook (317 not out) and Joe Root (262 not out). After this England has recorded the fourth highest in test cricket history with Sri Lanka holding the top position having scored 952 for six against India in 1997 in Colombo. 

Pakistan used a total of seven bowlers during England’s innings, in which seven bowlers conceded more than 100 runs. Abrar Ahmed bowled the most overs and also conceded the most runs. Abrar conceded 174 runs in 35 overs. However, Abrar did not play on the fourth day due to a fever.
