The brand value of food aggregator company Zomato has seen a growth of 100 percent on an annual basis this year. This has been stated in the Kantar report related to India's most valuable brands. According to the report, its value has doubled due to the increasing demand for this brand among the customers.

Meanwhile, travel platform MakeMyTrip has made it to the list of top Indian brands after a huge improvement in customer experience. "MakeMyTrip's entry in this list is based on the fact that more and more people are traveling, so they use travel websites more," said Soumya Mohanty, managing director, and chief plan officer, in South Asia, at marketing data and analytics company Kantar.

The total value of India's top 75 most valuable brands is $450.5 billion, an increase of 19% over the previous year. Businesses from different sectors played an important role in this growth and the brand value of 54 brands increased over the previous year. This growth is higher than most other rankings globally and reflects a growth of 20% in the global top 100 brands.

TCS on top

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has retained its top position in the brand ranking for the third consecutive year. This year its brand value was $49.7 billion and it saw an increase of 16 percent compared to last year. This increase in the company's brand value was due to investment in innovation, especially artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
