The Indian Consulate in New York has issued a statement on the social media platform X. It said that the incident of breaking the signboard near the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Melville, New York is unacceptable.

Hindu organizations condemned

It is about 28 kilometers away from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a community event on September 22.
