Asian markets mixed

Today, on Wednesday, a mixed trend is being seen in the Asian markets. Topix is ​​seeing a gain of 0.45 percent and Nikkei is seeing a gain of 0.80 percent. On the other hand, Taiwan's market is seeing a decline of 0.36 percent.

Gold boom

Gold is trading with a slight increase at $ 2,573. While silver has come down by about $ 1 to $ 30.45.

softening in crude

Oil prices fell by 0.5 percent in early trade on Wednesday. Currently Brent crude is trading down by 0.53 percent and WTI crude is down by 0.55 percent

Asian currencies mixed

Asian currencies were mostly trading higher in early trade on Wednesday. However, the Malaysian ringgit gained 7 percent on a year-to-date basis, while the Taiwan dollar fell 4 percent.

LME Commodities

On Wednesday, all commodities witnessed a decline in early trade, with lead trading the most down by 1 percent. On the other hand, aluminum is down by 0.18 percent, copper by 0.21 percent, nickel by 0.59 percent, lead by 1.01 percent a,  and zinc by 0.68 percent.
