Rain Alert: Several states across the country are expected to experience continued heavy rainfall as per the latest alert issued by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) until October 16. The IMD forecasts heavy rainfall in many states, while the southwest monsoon is anticipated to withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Maharashtra, Bihar, and Jharkhand within the next two days. Despite this withdrawal, several states, particularly in South Peninsular India, are likely to experience heavy rainfall.

Heavy rains will occur in these states

According to the latest forecast by the IMD for the southern states, heavy rainfall is expected in several regions. In Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, there is a possibility of rain until October 15. Kerala is expected to experience heavy rains over the next six days, while Andhra Pradesh is forecasted to experience heavy rains from October 14 to 16. Additionally, Karnataka is expected to receive rainfall on October 14. Particularly, very heavy rains are anticipated in Tamil Nadu and Kerala on October 13 and 14.

Delhi indicates clear skies and stable conditions

The weather forecast for Delhi indicates clear skies and stable conditions until October 16. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius. On Monday, the minimum temperature in Delhi dropped to 18.6 degrees Celsius, which is one degree below the seasonal average. Throughout this period, the maximum temperature is anticipated to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

Rain at several places in eastern parts of Rajasthan

In the last 24 hours until Monday morning, light to moderate rain occurred at numerous locations in the eastern regions of Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, during this period, some areas in eastern Rajasthan experienced light to moderate rainfall, while the weather remained predominantly dry in western Rajasthan. Dungla (Chittorgarh) recorded the highest rainfall of 47 mm, and the highest temperature of 38.2 degrees Celsius was registered in Ganganagar.

Possibility of rain in Jharkhand

The Meteorological Department has reported the formation of a low-pressure area due to a cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, potentially influencing the weather in Jharkhand. While Monday is expected to have clear skies and dry weather, there is a likelihood of rain in the southern region of the state on Tuesday, October 15. Over the next four days, no significant changes in Jharkhand's maximum temperatures are anticipated.

Weather of Bihar

The Meteorological Center in Patna has reported that the weather in Bihar is expected to remain relatively stable over the next three days. The western wind is currently ascending from the lower regions of the state, which may lead to a gradual decrease in both maximum and minimum temperatures.
