Karnal: Amid the Haryana elections, Congress MP Kumari Selja's dissatisfaction has caused a stir. Selja has chosen to remain silent amidst the election fervor and has been noticeably absent from political meetings. As a result, she has been receiving offers from several parties. BJP leader and former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was the first to extend an invitation to Selja to join BJP. Following this, BSP National Coordinator Akash Anand openly invited Congress leader Kumari Selja to join the party. In a special conversation with NBT, Akash Anand mentioned that the doors of BSP are always open for Kumari Selja. It is reported that Selja had requested tickets for 30 of her supporters, but only 4 of them were granted tickets. Campaigning for the assembly elections in Haryana is currently at its peak. Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda has taken charge of the Congress, while former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Nayab Singh Saini are actively campaigning for BJP in Haryana. Additionally, Abhay Chautala and Dushyant Chautala are also heavily involved in the campaign.
BSP's alliance with INLD
After allying with INLD, BSP leader and Mayawati's nephew, Akash Anand, has also entered the political scene in Haryana. Akash Anand conducted an election rally in Karnal on Saturday, aiming to establish a connection with the public similar to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. If this strategy proves successful in the Haryana assembly elections, they plan to implement it in other states. Akash Anand expressed that his objective is to reinvigorate the political presence of BSP.
Congress is insulting Sailaja.
Speaking to NBT, BSP coordinator Akash Anand expressed that there is growing resentment against both the BJP and Congress in Haryana. He mentioned that both parties have negatively impacted the state. According to Anand, the people of Haryana are seeking an alternative option, and he believes that the BSP-INLD alliance will achieve great success in the upcoming election. He accused the Congress of neglecting the Dalits and specifically mentioned Kumari Selja as a prominent Dalit figure in Haryana, claiming that the Congress was disrespecting her. Anand openly extended an invitation to Selja to join the BSP, emphasizing that the BSP welcomes all Dalit leaders.
Rahul Gandhi revealed his true feelings within 6 months.
Akash Anand criticized Rahul Gandhi's stance on the reservation, claiming that he is fundamentally against it. He stated that Rahul Gandhi's true colors have started to show within 6 months of winning the election. Anand questioned how long a person can hide their true feelings, particularly on the issue of reservation. When BSP leader Mayawati asked for clarification on the reservation matter, Rahul Gandhi deferred to Congress president Kharge. Anand expressed concerns that Rahul's sentiments towards Dalits will have an impact on elections in Haryana and future Lok Sabha elections.
