Palak Sindhwani has formally responded to the legal notice issued by the production team of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. Notably recognized for her portrayal of Sonu Bhide, Palak has leveled allegations of mental harassment, exploitation, and threats against the production team. This is not an isolated incident, as the production team has faced similar allegations from other long-term actors. Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, renowned for her role as Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi, has voiced support for Palak and criticized the production team for causing distress to the actors. In an interview with Times Now, Jennifer emphasized that the challenges faced by Palak are not unique and asserted that the production team consistently creates obstacles for actors seeking to depart from the show. She stated, "The makers are essentially unable to take any action, instead they disrupt the situation. They are unwilling to accept a peaceful departure."

TMKOC makers created trouble for Palak :

Based on her experiences and the way the cast was treated on the sets, Jennifer called 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' a 'prison'. The actress revealed that when Palak wanted to quit the show, the makers sent her a legal notice and created trouble for her.

Jennifer Mistry supports Palak Sidhwani:

Jennifer Mistry expressed her support for Palak Sidhwani by calling her "darling" and acknowledging the potential stress of not receiving payment from the production house. She also expressed confidence in Palak's ability to handle the situation wisely. Jennifer also mentioned her own experience of not receiving payment for one and a half years.

The makers of TMKOC have also made allegations against other actors: 

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who worked with Palak for four years, stated that the production house has leveled similar allegations against many actors who have informed the team about leaving the show. According to her, Raj Anadkat, Gurcharan Singh, Shailesh Lodha, and many other actors have also faced similar problems.

People are aware of the tricks played by the makers of TMKOC:

Jennifer said "They will likely play the same game with Palak too. However, they don't realize that people are now aware of their tactics, and the mistreatment of the artists will be exposed." Jennifer Mistry emphasized that unless people come forward and speak up about the exploitation on the set, nothing will change for the show.
